Early Childhood Programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Saint Paul the Apostle has a newly renovated and fully licensed Child Care Center on campus. Tailored for the youngest members of our community, the layout creates smooth transitions and prioritizes the safety of our children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saint Paul the Apostle\u2019s Early Childhood programs focus on forming the whole child through academic play opportunities, encouraging social development, and inspiring children to enjoy their relationship with God. Teachers guide children through peer interactions and help them develop self-control with positive reinforcement and reflection. Children learn how to navigate the world around them in a loving Christ centered environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toddler<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

St. Paul the Apostle has a fully certified and educationally based child care for children starting at 18 months old. We offer full year and school year options. In the Toddler classroom our students will be engaged in academic play opportunities that focus on the earliest foundations of learning. We provide snacks and wipes. Parents provide diapers. Our child care classrooms follow our school schedule and are open Monday-Thursday during the summer. Closed the week of July 4th and the week before school starts back up in August. Child care hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm Spaces are limited so make sure to apply early on the admissions page. Tuition rates can be found on the Tuition page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Preschool<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This program starts introducing the routines of a preschool program while focusing on play as the foundation of learning. This classroom is also a great opportunity for preschool aged children who are not potty trained. Children must be 2.5 years old before entering Early Preschool. Parents provide diapers and snacks, we will provide wipes. We offer full year and school year options. Our child care classrooms follow our school schedule for breaks and holidays and are open Monday-Thursday during the summer. Preschool 3\u2019s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This program is an opportunity to gain independence and confidence by coming to school. This classroom places a strong emphasis on social-emotional skills that are learned during play. Children learn rules and routines and appropriate ways to get along with their friends. Preschool 3 programming includes Catechesis of the Good Shepherd once a week. Catechesis invites children into a prepared environment consisting of three dimensional representations of scripture, baptism, and the Eucharist. Children must be 3 by September 1st and fully toilet trained in order to be eligible for this classroom. This class follows our school year calendar for breaks and holidays and offers a 2 day schedule, meeting M\/W or T\/Th from 8:30am-11:30am.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Preschool 4\u2019s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This program grows on the foundation set during Preschool 3\u2019s. We continue to focus on the social-emotional skills as our students now are becoming more capable of solving problems independently. Play still remains an important part of learning at this stage. We focus on phonics\/literacy, handwriting, math and follow a formal Religion Curriculum. Preschool 4 programming includes Catechesis of the Good Shepherd once a week. Catechesis invites children into a prepared environment consisting of three dimensional representations of scripture, baptism, and the Eucharist. Children must be 4 by September 1st in order to be eligible for this classroom. Early 5s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This program is the perfect stepping stone to our Kindergarten program. The core academic subjects include phonics, literacy, handwriting, math and formal Religion curriculum. The students have additional time for extra practice and enrichment activities like science and cooking. This is a great way for students to acclimate for kindergarten and grow in their confidence. Developmental Kindergarten also includes the weekly specials Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, PE, Music, and STEAM. Children must be 4 by March 1st of the school year before they enroll, or 4.5 by September 1st of the year they enroll. This class is located in the main school building and meets Monday-Friday 8:00am-11:00am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afternoon Preschool and After School Care<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Afternoon care and after school care are optional add-ons for all preschool programming. This program allows preschool students to stay in a structured program for full days in addition to their core program. Parents are able to choose in advance how many days a week they would like to add care and pay via tuition. Afternoon care is Monday-Friday 11:00am-3:00pm, after school care is Monday-Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm. Tuition Rates can be found on the tuition page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
